The world needs more stories like these!!! Of Muslims and their spirituality, their love for Allah . Most of the fiction I’ve read with Muslim characters have Muslims that aren’t practicing, or the characters who pray are the ones that are abusers etc. We need more fiction that showcases real Islam. Peace, love, empathy.

This was such an amazing read.

Omg thank you so much for reading and leaving such a wonderful comment. Yes... in'shaa'Allah I hope to fill that void... to create characters that fit the space of Muslims who actually want to be Muslims and have a spiritual connection with their Lord...!

I totally agree! I feel the same way. I actually posted a note about it on substack, because I was looking for book recommendations about fictional Muslim characters that are actually practicing lol

Sidenote.. when I first read the title I read it as Ramadan vinegarette:sehri. And I was intrigued as to what ramadhan vinegarette was and why one had it at sehri 😅 also I've already opened my fast so literally no excuse to read it that way 🫣

The short story exceeded my expectations 🥰

LOL! Never change ❤️❤️😂 you literally put a smile to my face alhamdulillah. I'm glad it kept you reading, even if under false pretences. Perhaps I need to make strange titles to get the readers in 😂
